Friendship Charity Association (FCA) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization serving as a bridge between donors and local communities. Vision: A better future for the impoverished people of East-Central Qinghai. Mission Statement: FCA’s mission is to promote impoverished disadvantaged communities by assisting locally identified needs in five main areas: * basic education

* rural development

* health care

* environment protection

* cultural preservation We believe that our goals are best achieved by:

* A participatory approach to researching local conditions;

* Strengthening communication between organizations, donors, and volunteers to conduct project planning;
