"Instead of providing bread to the poor enable them with the skills to earn their livelihood so that they can rise out of poverty and hunger"
Focusing on this powerful statement, Garv Foundation, which is a registered ngo, aims to provide sustainable livelihood to at least 100 families through cottage industries by the end of 2017. The organization works towards empowerment of women, children and socially backward communities by providing sustainable livelihood, quality education, training and related services. We seek to create a society based on equality and justice; a society where empowered women can influence policies and actions at all levels of decisions to safeguard their rights and help to promote sustainable development. We believe in a rights based approach, not a charity based approach.
