About MHT:

Mahila Housing SEWA Trust (MHT) was established in 1994 with the overall objective of improving the housing and infrastructure conditions of poor women in the informal sector. Within this general framework, MHT facilitates access to services such as shelter finance, legal advice, technical assistance, information on the housing market, and shelter-related income opportunities for poor working women. Through its advocacy activities, MHT also attempts to influence housing and infrastructure related urban and rural development policies and programs to meet the needs of its membership. 


The Talent Management Associate will be responsible for the entire gamut of human resource activities and create a great place to work. She holds primary responsibility for the effective and efficient implementation of human resource policies and procedures which is high on quality and will also have to support the director in her work.

Recruitment and on-boarding :

  • Create JDs and upload on site 

  • Schedule screening calls and interviews 

  • Respond to applicants on a regular basis 

  • Schedule induction of all new hires 

  • Ensure Finance rolls out offer letters 

Performance Management System :

  • Coordinating, scheduling and compiling documents for mid-year and annual reviews 

Employee engagement:

  • Formulation and execution of ideas for various days, retreats, other engagement activities 

  • Maintain documentation - soft and/or hard copies of databases, manuals, email templates, letters 

For the Director:

  • Support in organising the mailing list. Computer /Non computer related data management. 

  • Form a bridge between the director and the programme managers, helping in organising meetings, interactions etc.

  • Writing follow up emails to donors, funders, etc. Post strategic meetings and visits by the director.

  • Work with the finance staff and the programme staff to organise board meetings and see that the due diligences and the compliances are met with.

  • Conducting secondary / internet search on the required information.

  • Support in organising con calls/ Skype calls nationally, internationally.

  • Support in making presentable proposals and organise power points for the Director, with excellent formatting skills.

  • Take up follow up conversations with the donors/ investors.

  • Any role normally performed by Human resource personnel. 

  • Any other tasks as mutually agreed with the director.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent communication and drafting skills. 

  • Excellent organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail and ability to adapt to changing situations. Able to multi-task and prioritize while performing a variety of tasks with minimal direction. 

  • Advanced knowledge of popular computer applications such as Microsoft Office, (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and new social networking applications. 

  • A pleasant personality with excellent English and effective communication skills. 

Education and Work Experience :

  • Graduate degree with relevant experience in developmental sector / Post Graduate in Human Resource 

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience 

Compensation Package: Commensurate with qualification and experience.
