SUMMARY OF THE OVERALL JOB:
The Donor Relationship Officer will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with Mid value donors (MVD) / High Net Worth Individuals (HNI) to secure substantial donations, ensuring sustainable funding for our programs and initiatives.
KEY FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Donor Relationship Management:
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with HNI/MVD donors through regular communication and personalized engagement.
• Ensure high levels of donor satisfaction by understanding their interests and aligning them with the organization’s goals.
2. Fundraising Strategy:
• Design and implement a comprehensive strategy to attract and retain HNI/MVD donors.
• Identify potential HNI/MVD prospects and develop tailored proposals to secure their support.
• Writing content & designing material, collaterals, flyers etc as per the HNI/MVD segment requirement
3. Donor Engagement:
• Plan and coordinate exclusive events, meetings, and visits for MVD/HNI donors to enhance their connection with the organization’s mission.
• Provide regular updates to donors on the impact of their contributions through detailed reports, newsletters, and personal updates.
4. Collaboration and Coordination:
• Work closely with program teams to gather relevant information and success stories that can be shared with donors.
5. Data Management and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of donor interactions and contributions using the organization's CRM system.
• Prepare monthly reports on fundraising activities, progress towards targets, and strategic recommendations.
6. Training and Capacity Building:
• Train and mentor junior staff and volunteers involved in MVD/HNI fundraising activities.
• Stay updated on best practices and emerging trends in MVD/HNI fundraising to continually enhance the organization’s approach.
Target (Per Annum):
• Secure a minimum of 1 crore donations from MVD/HNI donors each fiscal year.
• You are required to achieve the goals by maintaining 40% Acquisition & 60% Retention.
• Achieve a donor retention rate of minimum 40% for existing MVD/HNI donors.
• Organize and host a minimum of one exclusive donor events each quarter.
ELIGIBILITY:
• Graduate/ Post Graduate
• 1-3 Years of relevant experience in Donor service
• Excellent English communication skills with demonstrated ability to talk and listen to people and build rapport with them.
• Highly performance-oriented and ability to work in a team.
• Energy and drive to inspire people
• Public Speaking skills
