JOB TITLE : CLINICAL MANAGER AROGYA PROJECT, CHAMPAWAT
Mitra Technology Foundation (MTF) for its Arogya Project, seeks a Clinical Manager who will be based in Champawat District of Uttarakhand.
The Arogya Project is supported by Dr. Sushil Sharma, an Anesthesiologist, who co-founded Aarohi (www.aarohi.org) , a non-profit organisation in 1992, and has spent 35 years to help build the mostwidespread Community Health Program in the neighbouring Nainital District of Kumaon, impacting over onehundred villages and benefiting approximately 100,000 people annually.
Currently, under the aegis of MTF, the Arogya Project aims to align improved maternal and child outcomes withthe NHM and SDG goals.
Permission to develop 5 subcenters and the Primary Health Centre in Pati Block as model delivery points has beengiven by district authorities.
Requirement
Graduate / PG in medical sciences, preferably a doctor, with experience in health / management / social work. The person should ideally have experience in conducting deliveries and training midwives.
Good communication, writing and management skills
Adequate knowledge of computer operations, especially MS Office
Creative and enterprising
Ability to drive would help
Responsibilities: The Clinical Manager is expected to assist the Program Manager in multi-faceted ways, amongst which are:
Assess all ANMs at the block level for knowledge, skills and practices for safe delivery. Highlighting critical gaps that need to be covered through training & mentoring.
Create an annual training calendar for the training of ANMs along with the Nurse Mentor.
Conduct and guide classroom and web-based training of ANMs in the region with safe delivery practices.
Guide the Nurse Mentors in the project.
Assist ANMs in conducting deliveries where needed.
Liaise with relevant members of the public health sector.
Coordinate with external agencies.
Plan and implement a calendar of medical camps in coordination with partner agencies and independently with a focus on NCDs (Diabetes and Hypertension), ensuring screening, treatment, referrals and follow-up and generation of awareness in the community on prevention and management of diseases.
Oversee monthly monitoring, timely compilation, analysis and submission of reports of the project to the Program Manager.
Oversee aspects of Administrative and Financial management of the clinical part of the project.

Assignment: It is an assignment to stay in the pristine Himalayas and initiate lasting change in the lives of thousands of people. The contract is for one year and is subject to annual review and the project period (2 years). We will provide or assist in getting clean, simple accommodation. Women candidates are encouraged to apply.Consultancy ranges between INR 65,000-75,000 per month based on experience.
