ASK T&L has been working in the development sector for over a decade with the aim of building knowledge and skills at the bottom of pyramid to ensure efficiency and effectiveness to achieve sustainable development. ASK provides services in form of needs assessments, formative research, monitoring and evaluation of development projects and programs, Capacity building and long-term accompaniment in organization development and project cycle management to strengthen programs and projects.

Designation: Program officer/Sr Program Officer

Location: Gurgaon, Haryana

Job Responsibilities

Take lead in planning, executing Primary and Secondary research .

Conduct literature review, design and pilot survey instruments and tools as per Assignment/Project scope.

Develop an action plan for timely execution of the assigned project(s)

Assist the Research Manager in developing training material for the field team

Conduct field trainings of the data collection team

Responsible for field based execution, managing day to day activities and field teams during data collection to ensure timely collection of quality data

Conduct interviews, focus group discussions etc. as per the requirement of the project

Qualitative & Quantitative data analysis and report writing

Provide support in preparation of RFP/Proposal for research and budgets (working on the method and sampling).

Skills required

Good written and oral communication skills

Understanding of research methodologies, sampling, applied research, program design and evaluation

Previous experience of undertaking fieldwork, conducting interviews and FGDs. 

Experience of using digital data collection platforms

Familiarity with the development sector, social investment/philanthropic and social change fields

Willingness to travel across the country and outside the country

Team player

Able to demonstrate managerial skills
