POSITION: Assistant Program Manager
LOCATION: Delhi
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
PM- Parent Navigation, Advocacy & Family Engagement/ KCK, is responsible for assisting the GM/ Director in designing and delivering innovative programs/ events that support the organizations objectives. PM will work directly with the GM/ Director to define the requirements and create robust implementation strategies. She/he will contribute instructional design and facilitation expertise and also, responsible for setting basic processes in place within the department to increase efficiency and hence broaden the purview and potential of the PNAFE/KCK and will be required to travel at pan India as per requirements and provide support for PAN India activities and participate in regional/or global network meetings/forum and trainings.
KEY RESULT AREAS:
• Assist GM/ Director and play vital role to meet or exceed departmental targets, including quality and sustainability overall budgetary performance.
• Drive ongoing departmental improvement and processes as of the key person in department.
• Assist GM/ Director in the growth of the department and expand its coverage across PAN India.
• Assist GM/ Director and lead own-self to manage the overall operations of the Patients Navigation, Advocacy & Family Engagement Department.
• Promote close liaison and cooperation across all departments/units within the organization as and when required.
• Play vital role in overall implementation of other KCK programs, projects, campaigns and researches
• Play key role in the reintegration and Livelihood of KCK member through Internship and Fellowship
• Assist GM in developing curriculum for the fellows enrolled in the project
• Monitor and Evaluate the projects in term of its deliverables
• Develop proposal and report on all the activities of the program, projects and campaign
Job Description (JD):
• Research, plan and present the Departmental programs, Projects and Campaigns focusing on Patient Centric services, advocacy
• Lead, Oversee and plan the activities of KCK Group from PAN India
• Liaise with designated people for execution of the assigned activities.
• Assign the task as per the position and capacity of the members in KCK.
• Lead and Coordinate inter and intra department meeting for KCK Activities.
• Mentor, Activate and coordinate the Chapter Heads for execution of the Activities and events
• Activate KCK members and self-participate in various Projects and campaigns and track its smooth functioning regularly
• Keep record of all the database of KCK and update regularly
• Encourage the young survivors of childhood cancer patient in completion of their child’s treatment and Enroll them as the KCK member
• Motivate and mobilize KCK members for effective advocacy for every aspects of support of childhood cancer and family
• Issue the membership card to the KCK/ P3SG members
• Plan, propose and execute the reintegration & Livelihood programs/projects for empowerment and up-skill the KCK members to transform them into Patient Navigators & Parents’ Ambassadors.
• Plan, propose and execute the programs to build the Patient Advocates and Ambassador among the KCK members
• Plan, propose and execute the programs/projects for the awareness and ensure the Survivors, KCK members and Patients participation in bringing worthy change in childhood cancer in India
• Prepare the peer support group in the Survivors and KCK members
• Build a strong coordination among KCK members, P3SG Members, Patient Navigators and ensure the patient/ Parents participation in all awareness and advocacy plans and projects
• Prepare the Annual Plan Calendar of KCK group under the coordination and suggestion of seniors in the department/ Organization
• Mobilize the members in the various program, projects and celebration of KCK Group
• Assign the members of KCK secretariats and chapter heads for the effective and qualitative outcomes of the planned events and program of P3SG.
• Represent the Survivors and KCK Group for the planning the P3SG activities with the various institutions of CanKids
• Receive the suggestion, guidance and instruction from the high level institution of Cankids and implement in the group
• Liaise and represent the group for reporting the various institution of CanKids
• Lead and discuss the other members of the KCK secretariats on the preview for the calendar follow up
• Lead and review of the accomplished and ongoing event and program and provide the mentorship as per need
• Prepare the proposal of KCK group and retrieve its approval
• Prepare the Report on the event/ program/ celebration and submit for its approval
• Keep, maintain and update the overall database of KCK group
Any other tasks assigned by seniors of the department, SMTs of the organization

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Masters Of Social Work.
