Reporting to: Program Manager
Reporting directly to the Program Manager, the Program Coordinator will need to be based in Bangalore and will be supporting the Program Manager to ensure that the programmatic objectives are met and that ACTs activities grow and evolve.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Implementation of the Programs -
Planning, organization, implementation and daily management of the projects to deliver project outcomes within stated timelines
Devising effective community mobilization strategies for strengthening community engagement (engaging mothers, enrolment of new children, etc.) Set up volunteer orientation and induction Implement the Volunteer program (volunteer - child mapping, weekly meetings with groups, quarterly volunteer meetings)
Documentation of Program -
Programmatic reporting and documentation (to internal and external stakeholders) Volunteer reports, weekly
Impact Assessment of Program -
Daily monitoring and evaluation of project development for continuous improvement in conjunction with Program Manager Child assessments, annually
Data Capturing and Analysis -
Timely capturing of data with regards to all stakeholders (student, parents, child attendance, performance, progress, volunteer hours, etc.)
Provide timely and precise information from the field for monthly, quarterly, yearly or any other reports and documentation
Event Management -
Plan and implement all Program based events like Annual Day,Inventory management for any program related function, with admin teamSupporting administrative responsibilities
Communication -
Social media management : Drafting and posting postsAbility to draft reports representing Program achivements
Mandatory Requirement: -
Graduate/ Post Graduate degree or equivalent in relevant fields: Education, Public Policy or Management 2+ years of work experience in the development sector. Experience in education sector will be preferred. Understanding of monitoring and tracking programs Should have the ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative data Strong written and verbal communication. Strong with MS Office, Google, etc.
Good to Have: -
Team player - Ability to build and maintain positive and collaborative relationships both within and outside the organization Knowledge of Kannada, Tamil, etc.
