Job Description : Education Lead

We are looking for a motivated and visionary Education Lead to lead our School and ensure holistic growth for students and teachers. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in educational leadership and a deep commitment to the upliftment of marginalized children.

Key Responsibilities :

• Strategic Leadership : Provide strategic leadership in academic and administrative operations of the school.

• Teacher Development : Support and promote innovative teaching methods to enhance pedagogy and learning outcomes.

• Performance Evaluation : Monitor and track student performance, teacher effectiveness, and program impact through regular assessments and drive improvements in academic and extracurricular performance.

• Community Engagement : Build strong relationships with parents, community members, and stakeholders.

• Operational Oversight : Manage school operations, including staff performance, financial planning, and curriculum execution. Lead school events, extracurricular programs, and parent-teacher interactions.

Essential Skills and Traits required for the role :

1. Leadership and Vision: Proven ability to inspire and guide a team toward shared goals..

2. Strong empathy, patience, and a commitment to equity in education and the ability to drive the same amongst the staff at the school..

3. Student Centric Approach : The Education Lead should inspire and nurture a culture of compassion among teachers, encouraging empathy and tailored support for students from disadvantaged backgrounds who face significant challenges in learning.

4. Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.

5. Technological Proficiency in educational technology and digital tools .

Requisite Qualifications :

• Master’s degree in Education or related field.

• Minimum 10 years of teaching and administrative experience in a school or an NGO - overseeing day-to-day school operations.
