PRASAD Chikitsa is a Not for Profit Organization (Licensee of The PRASAD Project, USA), registered in the year 1994. PRASAD Chikitsa is based in Ganeshpuri village, Taluka – Bhiwandi, District – Thane/Palghar. It is approx. 60 kms from Thane City and 25-30 kms from Virar station.
PRASAD Chikitsa works towards the upliftment of the Tribals in the Tansa valley (rural part of Thane/Palghar) and helps them to become self-sufficient.
PRASAD has an inspiring history of humanitarian efforts which has given a chance to those who have nowhere else to turn to.
PRASAD's humanitarian work began in the 1960s, with distribution of food, blankets, clothing and rebuilding the dilapidated homes of nearly 1,000 underprivileged families in rural Maharashtra, in Tansa Valley.
In the 1970s, PRASAD volunteers began delivering health care programs through a mobile health clinic. Until then, the nearly 265 thousand people living in 583 villages and hamlets in the valley had no access to basic medical care.
Today, PRASAD Chikitsa runs a full-fledged hospital which includes an eye care clinic, Dental clinic, HIV/ AIDS programs, TB program, General OPD, Specialised OPD's and community health programs. It also implements Community Development and Agriculture Programs through it’s host of initiatives focused on SHG, WASH, Wadi etc.
Over the years, PRASAD has gone beyond providing basic health care and is bringing about holistic transformation in the region.

1.Position: Finance Assistant
The main responsibilities are:
Timely updating of accounting records i.e. Bank accounting, processing journal entries, account reconciliations.
Maintain book of accounts in accounting software.
Handling and updating of monthly cash book.
To review the assets register and review with the books of account on monthly basis.
Prepare the quotes review and comparative statements before sending the same to Finance Manager for issuance of Purchase Order.
Any other duties that may be assigned by Finance Manager.
Qualification: Possession of a degree in Commerce or Business Administration from a recognized institution, along with 2-3 years of experience in finance, accounting, and taxation. Proficiency in written and spoken English is required. Familiarity with QuickBooks, MS Office Suite, and other accounting software is necessary.
2.Position: Medical/Clinical – Program Manager
Job description:
Admin work as supervision of staff at Hospital OPDs
Managing the Mobile medical unit
Creating Donor reports, monthly and special event reports, Annual programmatic budget preparations
Clinical work of OPD for General patients, NCDs, TB Program
Supervising the Consultants at the ENT, Psychiatry, Plastic surgery, General Surgery, Audiometry OPDs etc.
Planning of monthly and calendar activities in consultation with Medical Director
Qualification:
MBBS preferred/ BAMS, with 3-5 years’ experience in Clinically handling patients at OPD – Diabetes, HTN, HIV, TB programs, Public health programs, experience of working with NGO.
3.Position: Ophthalmology Surgeon – Program Manager
The Opthalm Department at our Hospital has 12 bedded in door unit, full fledged OPD, OT with Phaco and operating Microscope etc and Optometrist Unit, A scan, Lensometer, YAG Lazer, Non touch tonometer, Slit lamp, Auto ref, Indirect and Direct IO etc
Job description:
Screening of patients at OPD
Cataract and other eye related surgeries
Organizing opthalm outreach camps
Staff supervision (OT staff, OPD staff and nurses)
Administrative cum reporting work.
Qualification: MBBS/BAMS (Dipl in Opthalmology), DOMS/MS/DNB Ophthalmology with 2-3 years’ experience in Ophthalmology surgeries and OPD
4.Position: Community Development & Agriculture – Program Manager
Qualification:
Min. qualification MSW with preference given to those having experience of working with SHGs, Agriculture and WASH projects. Have in depth knowledge of rural development programs such as women SHG’s, WASH, Agriculture, Environment etc;
Travel extensively in the field to maintain a personal rapport with the SHG's
Computer literate
Possess strong leadership qualities and problem-solving attitude
Able to network with like-minded organizations
Team player & leader, able to lead/motivate and manage a team of 15 + ORW's
Have a valid 2-wheeler driving license
Hold / arrange trainings & exposure visits for SHG's
Meet the local community leaders and stake holders to ensure their interest and engagement
The candidate will also have to:
Capture weekly success stories and report in predefined format internally and to Donors.
Prepare monthly reports and activity reports.

Job timings: Mondays to Saturdays, Sundays in case of specific events. 8.30 am to 4 pm, lunch break - 12.30 pm to 1.15 pm
Remuneration: Not bar for right candidate, PF, Gratuity, Annual leaves like SL, CL, PL applicable after confirmation as per rules.
