Job Description

PRASAD Chikitsa (Licensee of The PRASAD Project, USA) an NGO based out of Ganeshpuri village in Bhiwandi block of Thane District is looking to hire a Senior Program Manager for its Community Development program.

The ideal candidate will be :

1. Graduate in any stream, with a flair for working with rural/tribal communities..........Preference will be given to MSW

2. Computer literate

3. Possess strong leadership qualities and problem-solving attitude

4. Aged 35 to 50

5. Deadline driven.

6. Able to network with like-minded organizations

7. Team player & leader, able to lead/motivate and manage a team of 15 + ORW's

8. Have a valid 2-wheeler driving license

9. Have in depth knowledge of rural development programs such as women SHG’s, WASH, Agriculture, Environment etc;

10. Travel extensively in the field to maintain a personal rapport with the SHG's

11. Hold / arrange trainings & exposure visits for SHG's

12. Meet the local community leaders and stake holders to ensure their interest and engagement

R & R will also include:

1. Capture weekly success stories and report in predefined format.

2. Prepare monthly reports

3. Prepare activity reports

4. Apply for Awards and Recognition on behalf of the organization

5. Ability to address large gatherings.

He/she should have excellent written and oral communication skills in English, Hindi & Marathi.

We are looking for long term association.....

Salary will commensurate with experience & qualification - 5 lacs to 6 lacs per annum
