Job Description

Basic Foundation with the support of Restless Development has established Youth Resource Center (YRC) to address the signi?cant mental health and well-being challenges faced by LGBTQIA+ youth in the Dakshinpuri, Delhi.

Many young people in this community experience family rejection, social ostracization, and limited access to supportive public services, leading to increased rates of depression, anxiety, and, in severe cases, suicidal ideation. Deep-rooted stigma and lack of familial support have further exacerbated these challenges.

Role Details:

Job title: Community Mobilisation Executive

Location: Dakshinpuri, South Delhi

Consultancy Fee: INR 20000/month inclusive of all taxes

Eligibility Criteria

Language requirement: Written and spoken pro?ciency in both Hindi and English

Education: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to lead mobilization in the community

Experience: 2 Years experience working with adolescents, and youth on LGBTQIA+ issues and rights
