Position: Community Mobilizer

• Location: Nigdi, Pune

• Employment Type: 12-month contract, renewable on mutual agreement

• Reports To: Program Manager

• Salary: Up to Rs.3 LPA (based on experience and competency)

We are looking for Community Mobilizers to drive on-the-ground impact and ensure the successful execution of our projects at the grassroots level.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement community-based projects as per the identified themes.

• Mobilize and engage beneficiaries effectively.

• Build strong relationships with truck drivers, transporters, logistics companies, and other key stakeholders.

• Conduct awareness and training sessions.

• Collect field data and report progress to the program team.

Essential Skills:

• Strong field presence and ability to engage communities.

• Experience in stakeholder coordination, particularly in transport/logistics.

• Ability to manage a dynamic workload with minimal supervision.

• Open to extensive travel and working in grassroots settings.

• Strong communication skills in English and Marathi.

• Basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience in the social sector with a strong track record of community mobilization.

• Prior experience in implementing grassroots projects.

• Integrity, credibility, and a deep commitment to Synergie’s mission.
