Job Description

Job Title: WDU Asst. Co-ordinator

Reports To: WDU Co-ordinator / General Secretary

Program Management:

1. Organize, initiate, develop, and execute programs for women and girls

2. Manage and groom team members, assigning KPIs and monitoring them

3. Coordinate with local authorities, government agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure collaboration

4. Ability to effectively direct, plan, implement, and evaluate programs

5. To project strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead people and provide direction

6. Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage work assignments in an efficient manner and within established timeframes

7. Undertake scheduled community visits

8. Manage the development of new projects

9. Prepare program logical framework, timeline, M&E framework, and budget.

10. Expand and initiate new programs and projects in line with the vision and mission of the Association and develop innovative projects, Government Partnerships, and New Collaborations with NGOs

11. Responsible to raise funds for the projects of the Association

Reporting and Documentation:

12. Log KPI data into our application to monitor performance

13. Ensuring timely, concise, and accurate reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis on prescribed formats and applications.

14. To generate concise organization reports covering pertinent aspects of the WDU department.

General Responsibilities:

15. Ensure professionalism at all times and demonstrate exemplary prioritization of workload skills

16. Ensure that the policies, SOPs, and protocols are being adhered to at all levels of the organization

17. Ensure strict adherence to data confidentiality and security

18. Willingness to travel frequently across Mumbai, as per need of project or organization

19. You will be responsible for the overall smooth functioning of all the programmes. You will not only co-ordinate the existing programmes but also expand and initiate new programmes and projects.

20. Weekly staff meetings to be held for effective interaction and to provide support to the staff to be conducted periodically.

21. To attend staff meetings and other programmes of the Association

22. To develop and maintain a good rapport with Volunteers of the working groups to make the programmes more effective, share with the WDU committee, Board of Management information, programme reviews and evaluation.

23. To update the WDU Coordinator / General Secretary and work in Co-ordination with her.

24. Reports, Minutes and Records to be maintained. Prepare comprehensive national and annual reports, along with concise jottings and all necessary documentation, as mandated.

25. To co-ordinate with other Voluntary Agencies working to the field of Human Development and Women’s issues

26. In case of emergency keeping the HOD’s / Chairperson / Committee’s informed and to follow the instructions

27. Enforcing/Maintaining students & teachers’ rules and regulations (monitoring daily muster, behaviour & discipline)

28. Doing any unexpected though relevant and necessary tasks which may arise in the course of duty.

29. Perform any other duties as and when assigned by the Coordinator / General Secretary and Board of Management. To work under the direction of the Coordinator / General Secretary. You will be reporting to the Coordinator / General Secretary.
