MATRIX SOCIETY FOR SOCIAL SERVICES (MASS) is a civil society organization that has evolved its own identity as autonomous nonprofit organization Registered under 1860 Societies registration Act and undertaken development initiatives which positively impact the lives of the poor, and marginalized sections of the society by encouraging and enabling their participation in the process of their development trough a people centered approach.MASS started its mission in early 2002 by a group of social activists from different organization and since then contributing in the area of Health, Education, Livelihood creation, sustainable development, Female literacy, formal education for children, non-formal education, rural employment, income generation skills, SHG formation, community health and awareness programme and capacity building of the social sector organizations . The activities reach out to poor and marginalized, women, adolescents and disadvantaged from the rural and urban areas.The focus is not on transference of a massage but on working with community to develop appropriate message. MASS believes in participatory approach and works accordingly for the effective and sustainable development. People from the community should be involved at every stage of development process from the problem and need identification to project formulation, implementation, monitoring & Evaluation. MASS firmly believes the people’s participation leads to long-term efficiency, cost effectiveness, self- reliance, grass root initiatives and finally to enhance the community level organizational capacity.

Name of the project:- Primary & Preventive Health Care Services Through Mobile Medical Van At District Pitthorgarh, Uttrakhand

Objectives of the project:-

1. To provide mobile health care services in district pithoragarh where the basic access to health service is lacking

2. To increase access to health care in undeserved villages.

3. Curative healthcare to villagers.

4. Children, women, adults and aged in villages would have raise awareness o their personal health , hygiene and sanitation.

5. Free medical checkup at designated location.

6. Free distribution of medicines for the patients.

7. Early detection of preventable diseases and their treatment.

8. AIDS & Other healthcare awareness.

9. Free deworming

10. Distribution of nutritional supplements.

Reporting to: Project Coordinator

Essential Qualification: Degree/diploma in nursing (ANM, GNM, BSc Nursing or similar) with valid registration.

Job Responsibilities:

Work closely with the community mobiliser and conduct health camps in the communities being served.

Conduct Door-to-door screening for NCD related risk factors including height, weight, waist circumference, BP and Sugar checkups.

Identify at-risk beneficiaries based on prescribed protocols and sharing the data with the community mobiliser for further follow-up and referrals.

Assist / conduct special camps being organized with partner organisations or otherwise, these may include eye checkup, cancer screening, dental health camps amongst others.

Record and share patient data in prescribed format (Digital and/or manual)

Build good relationship with the patients/citizens being served and maintain good soft skills.

Manage bio-medical waste as per protocols prescribed.

Manage stock and inventory, reporting and upkeep (for medical consumables and equipment used)

salary :- 15000 to upto 20000
