Job Summary:

The Zonal Coordinator will play a critical role in overseeing and managing educational and career development programs across various centers in their designated zone. The individual will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the organization's key initiatives, including child development and community empowerment programs, and facilitating leadership development opportunities. The Zonal Coordinator will report directly to the Regional Coordinator and will be expected to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

A. Learning Center Management (R&T, Footpathshala):

Syllabus Planning & Management: Ensure proper academic planning, including syllabus coverage and target achievement at the learning centers.

Student Performance Monitoring: Track and assess student performance on a monthly basis, providing input on areas for improvement.

Center Performance Reporting: Prepare and submit quarterly reports on the performance of each center, highlighting key achievements and areas for growth.

Test Paper Preparation & Assessment: Manage the quarterly preparation of test papers and assessments for all students in the zone.

Activity Planning: Organize and execute monthly activity calendars for the centers, ensuring participation in educational visits, home visits, and Balsabhas.

Community Interaction & Visits: Conduct center visits, surveys, and engage with the community on a regular basis to address any operational or social concerns.

Sports Coordination: Facilitate sports-related activities at the centers, ensuring that students are provided with adequate opportunities for physical development.

Report Submission: Submit CMC reports and weekly/monthly exception reports, as well as coordinate sponsorship updates and report inputs.

B. Career Support Management:

Scholarship Coordination: Manage internal and external scholarships for students, ensuring proper coordination between students and sponsors.

Career Counseling & Placements: Oversee career counseling initiatives, ensuring that students receive proper guidance and support in their academic and professional journeys.

Post-10th Classes: Manage post-10th grade educational activities, providing academic and vocational guidance.

U-Mitra Fellowship: Support the management of the U-Mitra Fellowship, working to ensure student success and engagement.

C. Program Management:

Initiative Coordination: Manage zonal programs related to child development, community empowerment, and career support. Ensure all initiatives are in line with the organization's long-term goals.

New Program Development: Lead research and development for new initiatives and manage their successful implementation.

Impact Assessment: Conduct baseline and end-line surveys for all zonal programs, measuring impact and providing feedback for future improvements.

Program Audits & SOPs: Perform zonal program audits and ensure that all initiatives follow the organization’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Data Management: Compile program-related data for exception reports and maintain records for program-related management information systems (MIS).

D. Admin Related Work:

MoMs: Prepare Minutes of Meetings (MoMs) of Zonal and Volunteer meeting.

Reports: Prepare all admin related reports.

E. Finance related works

Qualifications:

A graduate in any field, preferably in Social Work, Education, or related fields.

Minimum of 6 months of experience in education, social work, or community leadership.

Proven leadership abilities with excellent communication and analytical skills.

Ability to handle pressure and work with strict deadlines.
