About the Position
Job Title: Project Associate Fishery
Number of positions: 01
Location: Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh
Salary Range: Competitive salary commensurate with experience
Type: Project Based
Qualification required: Master’s in agriculture/Fishery/Social Science/ Social Work/Rural Development/Business Administration.
Experience required Related experience of 2-4 years in the development sector preferably from a rural livelihood. Prior experience of working in Fishery will be preferred.
Skill and Competencies:
Proficiency in Project Management.
Project planning and Project Monitoring skills .
Data interpretation skills and the skill to develop MIS
Must be very versatile with developing excel based tools, powerpoint presentations, data handling, and analysis
Should be able to collate information and undertake research from the web as well as collate data from field teams.
Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently
Excellent communication skills in Hindi and English; ability to speak, read, and write fluently in both the languages is a must.
Ability to operate and lead under pressure and in challenging situations; and take quick and firm decisions.

Roles and Responsibilities
S/he will support the supervisor in assessing the qualitative and quantitative progress and providing necessary guidance to the district and block teams of UPSRLM.
S/he will regularly track the progress of the project activities and present the same on file for review of the supervisor and competent authorities.
S/he will prepare reports and do a compilation of progress on various project activities/intervention based on the monitoring of physical and financial progress.
S/He will draft concept notes, strategic notes, compile success stories, and case studies based on discussion with team members, and under the guidance of the supervisor.
S/he will support in organizing the project activities like training, workshops, orientation programs in coordination with District Mission Management Units under the guidance of supervisor, and taking necessary approval from competent authorities.
S/he will support in the development of monthly, quarterly, and annual plans for the assigned projects and tasks in consultation with supervisor.
S/he will develop excel based tools for program implementation support and quality assessment to be used by the State Mission Unit in coordination with relevant team members.
S/he will collate information and data from district and block mission management units, and conduct quick analysis prepare monthly program progress related slide decks (PowerPoint presentations) to share the progress and achievements with competent authorities and field teams.
S/he will maintain a repository of program documents, references, and updates and will present as deemed necessary.
S/he will support in identification of gaps and ensuring that they are addressed on time, and ensuring timely report submission and necessary documentation by the field teams.
Any other tasks /assignment /project assigned from time to time by the supervisor
Skills and Competencies:
Experience working with the Government or providing technical assistance to the government.
Possess leadership skills and is decisive, action-oriented, and adaptable.
Strong networking and relationship-building skills
Ability to work against tight timelines.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office
Fluency in verbal and written English and Hindi
Willingness to travel to the field and support interventions.

About the Project
PCI, India is a technical partner of the Uttar Pradesh State Rural Livelihood Mission. PCI is providing technical assistance around integrations of Health & Nutrition (HN), Gender and Women Economic Empowerment (WEE) interventions with community platforms promoted by UPSRLM. The technical support is designed to strengthen UPSRLM in its core areas as well as in the emerging areas of d Women Economic Empowerment which includes promotion of livelihoods of rural women by means of fishery. The overall support entails- co-creation of a strategy with UPSRLM in its core intervention areas for integration WEE including strengthening of UPSRLM’s internal system, structures, institutional mechanisms and processes. PCI India provides technical knowhow to UPSRLM for building strategy and designing strategic interventions on integration, building upon learning from successful models, providing systematic and catalytic support through cascade capacity building of staff and cadres, handholding, mentoring, technology based digital solutions and quality assessment to ensure successful implementation of those interventions in a defined geography.
