Organizational Background:
Aawahan “The New Voice” is a grassroots-level Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) founded in 2014 by a group of committed academic experts focusing on environment, biosciences, and socio-economic development. The organization works across multiple thematic areas, including Livelihood, Social Inclusion, Women Empowerment, Health, Education, and Environment Protection, with a special focus on improving the social and economic conditions of marginalized communities, especially women and young girls.
Project Background:
Since 2021, Aawahan The New Voice, in partnership with HCL Foundation, has been implementing a community-based project focused on “Strengthening Women Collectives.” The program promotes financial independence and empowerment among underprivileged women through social mobilization, SHG formation, micro-credit, micro-enterprise development, and skill-building initiatives. Key achievements include the formation of Women SHGs and producer groups, a Mobile Common Service Centre (CSC) for e-governance, and a Livelihood and Skill Development Centre. The project aims to scale and replicate its impact to benefit disadvantaged populations.
Position: Field Coordinator (Mobile CSC Initiative)

Location: Noida, Uttar Pradesh
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Conduct mapping to identify underprivileged areas in Noida and assess welfare gaps.
• Develop work plans for the rollout of the Mobile CSC Van to provide access to social welfare schemes.
• Ensure Mobile CSC van movement aligns with the roster plan to enhance welfare scheme uptake via e-governance services.
• Stay updated on new government welfare schemes and assist the target population.
• Conduct consultations with district stakeholders including officials, NGOs, and enterprises to promote the Mobile CSC initiative.
• Engage in meetings, workshops, and events to integrate social welfare promotion through the Mobile CSC Van.
• Outreach to stakeholders, community influencers, and disadvantaged populations to enhance uptake of social welfare schemes.
• Organize CSC camps promoting government welfare schemes in slum areas.
• Maintain records of CSC beneficiaries and the coverage area, including government IDs and service uptake.
• Promote visibility of the Mobile CSC Van through social media platforms.
• Prepare and share progress reports, case studies, photos, and data on a regular basis.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders such as government agencies, local bodies, SHGs, educational institutions, and others.
Qualification and Experience:
• Master’s in Sociology or Master’s in Arts from a reputed university.
• Advanced Diploma in Computer Education (ADCA) with proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point).
• 3-5 years of experience in community-based project implementation in areas like livelihood, skill development, micro-entrepreneurship, social welfare schemes, etc.
• Experience in social media post design and management on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
• Familiarity with government welfare policies and programs.
• Strong communication skills in English and Hindi (both written and spoken).
• Ability to work in small teams and adapt to flexible working conditions.
• Proficiency in data analysis, report writing, and case study compilation.
• Strong management and reporting skills to guide the team effectively.
