Job Opportunity

Position – TDF Program Coordinator

No. of Position – 01

Gender – Female or Male Candidate

Job Location – Khunti, Khunti District

Roles and Responsibilities –

• Coordinating with farmers and providing them with training in agricultural practices to ensure good agricultural practices are being followed.

• Promoting Semialata Horticulture Cultivation for Lac Cultivation.

• Promoting Dry land cultivation such as High Value Agriculture in as Inter Cropping in Semialata Orchid with all the farmers.

• Cultivation and value chain positioning of High value vegetables and Lac Products.

• Semialata & Vegetable cultivation through good agricultural practices.

• Formation of village farmers group and mobilizing all the groups into Apex Block Program Committee.

• Collaboration with govt. departments in the district and block.

• Coordinating with farmers for Poultry Rearing for the families.

• Promoting NTFP – Lac Cultivation in Semialata Host Plants

• Introducing climate resilient agriculture project.

• Preparing Daily Progress Report, project proposals, maintaining MIS.

Education Qualification, Skills, and Experience

Minimum Qualification:

B.Sc. in Forestry, Horticulture and or equivalent

Preference will be given to Post Graduate Degree Holders

Work experience in years:

Minimum 3 years of field experience in Agriculture and Allied-agriculture activities.

Technical Skill Sets:

• Prior experience in managing agriculture activities

• Strong communication (English and Hindi) and interpersonal skills are also essential, as you will be working closely with farmers and other stakeholders.

Other Skill Sets: Can ride Two-wheeler

Compensation –CTC4.14 lakh per annum
