In three decades, Parivartan has evolved into a pioneer organisation in the development and scientific testing of various community-based models of care for people with mental health and addiction problems in India.
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor and evaluate mental health programs using evidence-based approaches
• Analyze quantitative and qualitative data and publish research findings
• Develop comprehensive training materials for diverse stakeholders
• Design robust data collection tools and implement appropriate sampling methods
• Create and maintain M&E frameworks to track program progress and impact evaluation
• Support grant writing and contribute to technical proposals
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advance mental health initiatives
Key Qualifications and Requirements:
• Educational Qualification: A Master's degree in Public Health or a related field along with Bachelors in Medical or Allied Sciences (eg: MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, etc. ) is required. A PhD is desirable.
• Experience: 3-5 years experience in public health research; Demonstrated expertise in both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies; Strong analytical skills with experience in health data analysis; Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Experience in developing M&E frameworks
• Technical Skills: Demonstrated experience in using excel/SPSS & STATA/R is required. Knowledge of qualitative data analysis software: Weft QDA, NVivo, desirable.
• Preferred Experience: Candidates with prior experience in community mental health or addiction disorders will be preferred.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in both written and spoken English is desired. Fluency in spoken Marathi is preferable.
• Compensation: CTC is negotiable and will be commensurate with the experience and expertise of the incumbent.
• Availability: We have a preference for candidates who can join immediately.
