About us: Hasiru Dala is the organization of wastepickers and informal waste collectors in Karnataka. Hasiru Dala strives to integrate marginalized wastepickers into the solid waste management framework by utilizing their expertise in the domain and create livelihood. Hasiru Dala enables access to social security benefits to improve their quality of life. These include procuring government issued occupational ID cards that give them a sense of identity as well as access to financial inclusion, health insurance schemes, educational scholarship and loans for their children’s education and run their own enterprise. We also provide training to wastepickers to become professional service providers and entrepreneur wastepickers to understand the basics of running a business.
Job Description:
- Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
- Answer phone calls, schedule meetings and support visitors.
- Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc.
- Maintain and exhibit polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail.
- Ensure operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories and evaluating new equipment and techniques.
- Provides information by answering questions and requests.
- Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies.
- Maintain Monthly, weekly reports related to the office.
- Housekeeping Staff maintenance.
- Pantry area supervision and maintenance.
- In time Payment of Bills related to office.
- Maintenance of attendance register for housekeeping and all staff
- Maintenance of visitor entry register.
- Maintenance of day-to-day accounts (Petty cash)
- Courier Maintenance - Incoming & Outgoing register.
- Preferred to have a two-wheeler.
- Should have worked as an Administrative Coordinator, Administrator or similar role.
- Hands-on experience with MS Office Suite (particularly MS Word and MS Excel)
Educational Qualification – Graduation
Competency – Should have knowledge and Good command over Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Experience – 3-4 years
