Job Description

REQUISITES
- BA/Others LLB [Desirably, Graduation + Post-Graduation In Legal Studies]
-
At-least 1-2 years of socio-legal experience, with sufficient exposure to the development sector, to assist in both national and international operations of the organization

- Should have a fundamental understanding of Women's and Children's Rights, [ Good Hold at: General Law, Criminal Law And Commercial Law]

OVERVIEW

-Preparing legal papers and briefs, researching legal issues, and drafting legal documents

-Representing clients in court, negotiating with opposing counsel, and working with clients to develop legal arguments

-Representing clients in court or other settings, such as depositions or hearings

-Conducting research on legal issues to support litigation efforts

-Interpreting laws, regulations, and policies to advise clients about how these apply to their situation

- Drafting pleadings and motions for court proceedings, including criminal charges, bails, appeals of administrative decisions etc.
