Job Summary:

The Junior Engineer (Site Work) is responsible for providing technical support and assistance at construction sites. The role requires a solid foundation of technical knowledge and practical understanding of construction site operations. The Junior Engineer will work closely with senior engineers, architect, and site personnel to ensure smooth and efficient execution of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Assist senior engineers in planning and coordinating construction activities on-site.

2.Conduct regular inspections to monitor and ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.

3.Collaborate with construction teams to prepare and maintain construction schedules, including material and equipment requirements.

4.Provide technical assistance to site personnel, including contractors and subcontractors, in interpreting project drawings, plans, and specifications.

5.Perform calculations, prepare technical reports, and generate documentation related to site activities, such as progress reports, site diaries, and incident reports.

6.Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of construction materials and equipment to the site.

7.Assist in the resolution of technical issues that may arise during construction, proposing solutions and working collaboratively with the project team.

8.Participate in site meetings, provide updates on project progress, and communicate any potential delays or challenges.

9.Assist in the implementation and enforcement of safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

10.Keep abreast of industry developments, construction techniques, and best practices to continuously improve technical knowledge and site understanding.

Qualifications and Skills:

1.Diploma in Civil/Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

2.Prior experience of 2-3yrs.

3.Solid technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment.

4.Familiarity with construction drawings, plans, and specifications.

5.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in a fast-paced environment.

6.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

7.Proficient in using construction software and tools, such as AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.

8.Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures applicable to construction sites.

9.Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

10.Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and work schedules.

11.Physical fitness and ability to work in outdoor construction site conditions.
