Job Summary:

The Program Design, Manager will conduct needs assessments, field testing of curriculum materials, design collaterals, support Training of Trainers (ToT) activities, and provide ongoing monitoring support. The ideal candidate should be passionate about creating learning spaces and experiences that empower young girls and women to develop critical thinking skills, gain awareness of safety and health issues, and exercise their agency.

 

What will you do:

• Lead the design and pilot of Manjhi Fellowship’s core community interventions on women’s safety and health.

• Develop curriculum material for the Swasthya Suraksha Khabar and other programs, including lesson plans and self-study material for learners.

• Field testing the curriculum materials to gather feedback and make necessary improvements before at-scale implementation.

• Design visually appealing collaterals, including handouts, presentations, and training materials, using tools like Canva or similar software.

• Assist in conducting Training of Trainers (ToT) sessions, supporting trainers in effectively delivering the curriculum.

• Support the monitoring and evaluation of curriculum implementation, collecting and analysing data to assess the impact and effectiveness of the materials.

• Collaborate with program staff and other stakeholders to ensure curriculum alignment with program objectives and desired outcomes.

• Maintain accurate and organised documentation of curriculum development, revisions, and evaluation processes.

• Support the organisation's efforts in keeping a positive and inclusive learning environment for all participants.

Skills and Experience you will need:

• Passion for designing and delivering programs for young girls and women on safety, health and financial inclusion issues.

• Proven experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or related roles.

• Excellent documentation skills in both English and Hindi, with the ability to create clear and concise materials.

• Proficiency in using design tools like Canva or similar software to create visually appealing collaterals.

• Ability to conduct needs assessments and use data to inform curriculum design and revisions.

• Access to a laptop or computer for remote work.

• Ability to work in a hybrid environment, combining remote work and in-person collaboration.

It is a year-long experiential training designed and delivered in partnership with community-based.
