Purpose of the Job:
• To Promote knowledge development as per CGG's operational business processes and action plans
• To provide project execution level support to the Resource Group activities in Education, Health, Welfare, Inclusiveness, Equity, and allied sectors.
Position Objectives:
• Understanding the requirements of government departments in the Human Development landscape and assist the Senior Knowledge Manager/Project Manager in scouting for projects such as process evaluations, impact assessments, feasibility studies etc. in Education, Health, Welfare, and related departments
• Assist the Senior Knowledge Manager/Project Manager in effectively executing projects and delivering client deliverables within the specified timelines
• Work with other team members in achieving the organization’s objectives
Critical Functions of the Job: Conduct Primary, and Secondary Research, Develop Concept Notes and proposals, Prepare Bid documents, Project Execution, , data analysis using appropriate statistical tools, Report writing, and contribute to Publications.
Job Profile:
Minimum Education Required:
Essential:
Post-Graduation in Economics, Social Sciences, Public Health, Public Policy, Development Studies, Education, or related disciplines
Desirable:
• Knowledge of statistical tools
• Be IT literate, including competency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience in projects of government clients
Minimum Experience Required:
2 to 4 years and above of overall experience in Consulting / Policy Research in the mentioned fields etc. with at least 1 year of project experience in reputed organizations.
She or he should have expertise in at least two of the following areas:
• Evidence-based policy design in health or education sectors
• Education and skill development
• Public health and nutrition
• Gender-based and child issues
• Social welfare
Job Responsibilities:
1. To contribute to the development of concept notes and preparation of project proposals and bid documents ribute innovative approaches and methodologies to proposals and programmes
2.To contribute to the preparation of project execution plans and schedules for the projects assigned
3.To execute project activities such as designing survey tools/questionnaires, conducting secondary research, collecting primary data through field visits, orienting and monitoring field teams, systemic data collation, data analysis & interpretation, draft and final report preparation etc. as per the project plans and schedules
4.To contribute to the preparation of the Annual Action Plans of the Resource Group
5.To give inputs and guidance to the field teams in executing projects / assigned activities
6.To sort out any issues emerging during the implementation of the projects and escalate the same, in case they need intervention of the superior officers
7.To participate in Monthly Reviews / Milestone Reviews to update the superior officers of the Resource Group on the status of assigned activities
8.To prepare appropriate knowledge resources such as project case studies, project data sheets, updated CVs of the Resource Group etc., on closure of the projects
14.To participate in the publication activities of the Resource Group, such as research studies, case studies, paper presentations and publications
9.To take care of required correspondence with the clients, prospecting organizations etc. and maintain related files
10.To offer required support to the internal CGG Developmental Activities
11.To work with other team members in achieving organization objectives
