Don Bosco Tech Society, a network of more than 200 skill training centers that attempts to bridge this widening divide between those who have access to opportunities and those who are increasingly being marginalized from the ‘new economy’ jobs. Don Bosco Tech addresses this endemic problem with a market-based approach that is sensitive to the socio-economic needs of marginalized youth in the 18-35 years age group. Don Bosco Tech is an example of synchronous social action of various stakeholders, which is aimed at mainstreaming and ensuring economic security for youth who could be victimized by poverty. Don Bosco Tech Society is seeking an experienced professional to play a key role as per below-shared job description:

Designation – Assistant Manager

Department - Partnership and Linkages

Location - New Delhi

Roles & Responsibilities:
• Promote awareness of the organization’s mission and work.
• Cultivate a network of dedicated donors and volunteers.
• Spot new fundraising opportunities.
• Plan fundraising initiatives to help the organization meet financial goals.
• Form strong relationships with external stakeholders.
• Ensure engagement with donors are regularly updated with the organization progress.
• Research individuals, corporations, and foundations that are interested for donations or sponsorships.
• Effectively convey the organization’s mission, vision, and programs to potential donors.
• Write grant applications and fundraising proposals.
• Strategize and successfully execute fundraising campaigns.
• Organize fundraising events while overseeing teams of volunteers.
• Assist to liaison and collaborate with prospective and current partners/donors and different stakeholders.

Core Competencies :
• Ability to create and catalyze partnerships with multiple stakeholders
• Confidence in public speaking and making presentations.
• Ability to lead and motivate colleagues and volunteers.
• Strong attention to detail and passion for research.
• Ability to balance priorities while managing multiple tasks and planning big events.
• Fluency in English and local language (both oral and written)
• Excellent Communication, Interpersonal skills & facilitation skills
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Candidate should be open to travel

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Communication/ Business Management/Public Relations/or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in fundraising, sales, or marketing.
• Experience in writing grant proposals, press releases, fundraising letters and event management
• Legal or accounting experience - a plus.
