Job role: Social media officer

Are you a keen communicator and interested in leveraging social media to create awareness and change?

We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative and passionate individual to join our dynamic team.

Nature: Full time

Location: Delhi or remote

Work Experience: Prior experience of 2 years preferred.

Role Description:

Day-to-day execution and management of all our social media pages, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Linkedin and Youtube

Create posts—including graphics, short videos, and text—for these channels

Plan and design larger stakeholder and community engagement on a regular basis.

Build our overall presence and expand our reach.

Promote our programmes, reports and publications, and other efforts for maximum impact with cohesive, cross-platform content

Research and updating information and learning on the latest disability rights issues, concerns and opportunities.

Designing and executing relevant campaigns on social media.

Building and fostering partnerships and colaboration with organisations, influencers etc for amplification of content and campaigns.

Writing social media reports and tracking progress through analytics.

Attending virtual and in person events and documenting using social media

Required skills:

Language of disability rights

Willingness to learn about intersectionality and newer domains of work and issues.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Self motivated and ability to work in a dynamic flexible environment and small teams.

Photography, video, sound editing skills.

Willingness to travel for events, activities, trainings and campaigns.
