JOB DESCRIPTION FOR ACCOUNTS OFFICER

Work Location: New Delhi (Hauz Khas)

Reports To: Senior Manager –Finance & Accounts

Job type: Contractual

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Overall Internal Control Implementation.

2. Effective Grants Management.

3. Timely analysis of variances in the budget.

4. Preparation of monthly MIS and its reporting.

5. Effective compliance and statutory management.

6. Effective leadership.

7. Good knowledge of FCRA Act and its compliances.

8. Sound Knowledge of TDS, GST and other labour laws.

9. Bank reconciliation, Cash reconciliation.

10. Maintenance of books of Accounts.

11. Preparation of financial statement.

12. Co-ordination with Internal and External Auditors.

13. Project Accounting.

14. Project Reporting and Project Compliances (including preparation of UCs and compliance with the terms of MOU).

15. Good writing skills.

Educational Qualification – Graduation

Competency – Should have knowledge of Accounting, Tally 9.0. Good command over Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point

Experience – 3-4 years in NGO

Remuneration – 4 to 5 Lakhs per annum
