For more information, please visit www.psi.org.in About the program: TCIHC: The Challenge Initiative for Healthy Cities (TCIHC): PSI has received funding from USAID for a new urban health program to strengthen city level health service delivery eco system in both public and private sector for ending preventable child and maternal deaths (EPCMD) among urban poor. In Sep, 2016, PSI received additional funding from Bill & Melinda Gates Institute for Population and Reproductive Health, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health for undertaking a joint program with USAID to help urban health systems consolidate gains made by other programs in Family Planning. The Challenge Initiative for Healthy Cities involving funds from both USAID and BMGF is an ambitious program to unlock public and private resources to implement proven health solutions for urban poor. It will assist urban local governments in building its capacities to manage, implement and monitor its response to health issues. The purpose is to a) increase mCPR and b) Improve other maternal and child care services. A key innovation is the development of a challenge fund mechanism that provides matching funds and technical assistance as a means to incentivize replication and leveraged scale-up of successful Family Planning and MCH interventions. The demand-driven (rather than push-driven) expansion will result in adopting cities bringing their own political commitment and resources to The Challenge Initiative, with cities choosing to ?opt-in?. This program will be implemented in states which are of significant importance for urban health and MCH. SPARQ: Currently PSI is implementing a 3 year program with support from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) on Strengthening People-centered Accessibility, Respect and Quality (SPARQ) in Uttar Pradesh, India. Under this grant, PSI is planning to hire this position for facilitating and overseeing all research evaluation activities planned under phase II and phase III of this project A. POSITION PURPOSE: This position will be required to independently handle all administrative activities under supervision of Officer - IT Services & Administration B. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: I. Front office Management: Complete management of Front office, maintaining various registers and reports, courier receiving and dispatch, Petty Cash Management and Pleasant handling of Incoming guests and Telephone calls. II. Travel Arrangements: Responsible for all travel arrangement based upon requisition received for all office staff and guest,(Cab booking, Train ticket Booking, Flight ticket booking, Web Check In) and doing necessary accommodation arrangement (Searching Hotel & Hotel room booking, Guest House room booking for guest on request) and Coordinate office cab and driver in an efficient manner. III. Administration: Responsible for ensuring upkeep and maintenance of offices and for travel and accommodation arrangements, logistics for trainings/meetings, leases, vehicles, utilities, security, house-keeping, front office management, receipt/dispatch of mail, etc. IV. Inventory Management: Management of Inventory of POP/Stationary items and submitting the timely inventory reports to Management. V. Apart from this any duty assigned by Supervisor will have to be followed. C. QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE: * Graduate with 1-3 years of Experience in handling administrative functions. * Proficient with MS Office. * Good Communication skills in Hindi and English - written and verbal D.SKILLS: * Integrity * Maturity * Communication skills * Superior interpersonal and person management skills * Multi-tasking ability * Trouble shooting and problem solving skills * Negotiation skills * Analytical and methodical approach E.COMPETENCIES: 1.
