Location: Koderma, Jharkhand

SMVM is looking for an experienced female candidate for the position of project coordinator based out of Koderma to support our community empowerment project on ending child marriage. The candidate is expected to perform the following key functions:

Key Functions:
•Prepare and submit the monthly plan based on the project work-plan
•Regularly interact with girls’ and women’s groups to deliver curriculum based discussions on gender, life skills, adolescent health, child rights and domestic violence.
•Support in organizing trainings and workshops for sharing lessons learnt and challenges encountered
•Prepare periodic reports and case studies on human impact stories emerging out from the field
•Develop and update project database to capture qualitative and quantitative achievements of various project components
•Coordinate with PRIs/ Government functionaries and departments for effective project implementation
•Link communities to social protection schemes around health, education, livelihoods and protection
•Facilitate field visits of donors and government functionaries to project villages
•Support in undertaking strategic exercise such as impact studies/ evaluation for measuring effectiveness of the project

Qualification & experience
The candidate should hold a post-graduate degree in gender, social work, rural development any other discipline of social sciences, with 2-3 years of experience or a bachelor degree with 4 years of experience in programme management, stakeholder engagement, MIS, training, and documentation
