Title of the ad: Administrative Officer needed for research and development program at the Centers for International Projects Trust (CIPT)
Position Vacant (1): Administrative Officer
The Centers for International Projects Trust (CIPT), established by Columbia Water Center, USA, seeks to design and implement water solutions in some of the country's most challenging settings. In collaboration with government agencies, civil society and private sector partners, CIPT is developing new models and research paradigms for effective water and energy management along with food security and climate resilience in various States of India. CIPT aims to provide rigorous, research-based knowledge as the foundation for its various field-based initiatives involving the local communities, government, non-government and private partners and pursues a holistic approach to water sustainability assessment, sustainable agriculture and farmers livelihood and ecological systems management.
The Centers for International Projects Trust (CIPT) seeks to recruit an Administrative Officer who will contribute to the Administrative functions of CIPT
Reporting to the Director of the CIPT, the Administrative officer will be responsible for administrative related functions of CIPT with goals of 1) to prepare and maintain all office communication, records and documentation, 2) logistic and finance arrangement for different projects and studies and support in administrative and financial monitoring of the team.
Job requirements:
We seek a candidate with strong administrative related experience and skills. The successful candidate will have a master's degree in general management/office management or a closely related field and a minimum of three years of administrative experience in the development sector. Following are the primary job responsibilities:
-Manage office working environment and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
-Coordinate and manage travel booking for the project.
-Coordinate all the procurement processes of the organization.
-Organize meetings, discussions with the team.
-Maintain all records, files, and documents up to date.
-Maintain external communication with vendors, prepare office notes and documents for various procurement processes.
-Keep records of all employee's tours, attendance, employment, and leaves.
-Provide administered support to the project team
-Maintain all administrative and finance related documents.
-Prepare and checks bills, voucher and cash book registers.
The position is full-time, and the initial appointment will be for one year with the possibility of annual renewal based on performance and the availability of funds. The position is based at South Delhi.
Location: New Delhi
Salary package commensurate with qualifications and experience
