LMST works for sustainable holistic development by uplifting the informal sector women workers, the most deprived and disadvantaged section of the society, with a particular emphasis on empowering self-employed women of rural/urban slums area. LMST is committed to strengthening the movement of self-employed women in the informal economy by highlighting their issues at the national level and building women capacity to empower them at grass root level. Post Name: Personal Assistant Consultant

Essential Duties, Responsibilities

  • Maintains frequent communication with the CEO and team; maintains and nurtures a cooperative working relationship with all Government departments.
  • Assists with special event planning, promotion, and marketing.
  • Assists in planning, organising, coordinating and executing Department prospect visits.
  • Assists in preparation of informational publications, marketing materials, e-newsletters, etc.
  • Prepares, composes and processes correspondence, memorandum, reports and forms from oral or written instructions; also edits proposals, reports, and correspondence.
  • Creates purchase orders, submits invoices, and manages the purchasing process for needed supplies and services.
  • Reconciles administrative accounts.
  • Assists with purchasing and monitoring Departmental budget, utilising financial software.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Networks and continuously engages with diverse members of the ecosystem to be aware of trends, challenges, needs, risks, and opportunities.
  • Creates opportunities for inclusive partnerships with diverse local entrepreneurship and small business service providers, funding institutions, and creative sector businesses and organisations.
  • Works with the local community to understand needs of small business owners and entrepreneurs, identifies opportunities for growth, and works with partners to develop strategies, resources, financial tools, and programming to meet needs.
  • Attends entrepreneurship / business/ development / association meetings.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of the terminology used within the department.
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping and modern office procedures.
  • Skill in written and oral communication, in the use and operation of a computer, software applications, and general office machines.
  • Skill in organising work and dealing with the public and fostering internal/external relationships to encourage business friendly practices.
  • Skill in design thinking and human-centred design.
  • Skill in building and managing relationships with potential angel investors.
  • Skill in facilitation and presentation skills and public speaking.
  • Ability to communicate complex information in ways that improve accessibility and promote action.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and proactively with supervisors and other staff members.
  • Ability to mediate and resolve conflicts.
  • Ability to use independent judgement in routine and non-routine situations and handle sensitive situations with tact and diplomacy.
  • Ability to handle required mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to utilise and understand computer applications and techniques as necessary in the completion of daily assignments.
  • Ability to plan, organise, and/or prioritise daily assignments and work activities.
  • Ability to comprehend and apply the regulations and procedures of the department.

Qualification -

Bachelor/Master in Social Sciences & Humanities (Fresher can also be considered)
