United Nations Commission on Sustainable Development UNCSD, invites you to the 8th International Conference on Sustainable Development. Date: 15-18 May, 2018 Venue: Queen Elizabeth II International Conference Centre (QEIICC) London, United Kingdom. Conference Theme: "Creating a unified foundation for the Sustainable Development: "Education and Empowerment". The 8th International Conference on Sustainable Development is inspired by the outcome of the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development held in New York in September 2015 based on the critical challenge of human, environmental and economic sustainability concerning the present and future generations in a global-scale context. This conference is aimed to establish an inclusive and transparent intergovernmental process on SDGs that is open to all stakeholders with a view to developing global sustainable development goals. This ambition will proceed in a multidisciplinary way across the various fields and perspectives, through which we can address the fundamental and related questions of Sustainable Development. This interdisciplinary forum is for Economists, Researchers, Educational Organizations, Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), Youth & Women Organizations and practitioners from any professional discipline who share an interest in—and concern for— sustainability in an holistic perspective where environmental, cultural, economic and social concerns intersect. Registration to this conference is free and strictly on invitation. Your invitation reference number is UN-CSD/359/LND/18. Always quote this number in all correspondence with our secretariat. NOMINATION OF PARTICIPANTS: Participants can register as an organization or as an individual. Minimum of Two (2) persons and maximum of Three (3) persons are to register as a group or as an organization. Participants must be above Twenty Five (25) years of age both male and female. SPONSORSHIP: The 8th International Conference on Sustainable Development is sponsored by the United Nations Commission on Sustainable Development. This sponsorship covers only the following:- a. Free flight tickets from participants country of departure to London and back to participants country of destination. b. Medical insurance cover throughout the duration of the conference. c. Transport from airport to hotel and hotel to airport, hotel to conference venue and conference venue to hotel d. Tour to attractive sites within and outside the host city (London). NOTE: United Nations Commission on Sustainable Development, will not assume responsibility of any other sponsorship than those listed above. Accommodation cost for the four (4) days duration of this event is the sole responsibility of participating individuals and organizations.
