JOB DESCRIPTION:
Providing training and technical assistance to teachers and educationprofessionals.
Work alongside the Program Manager to support local partners and ensure quality implementation, including fieldwork to support school visits, work plans and training.
Assist with organization of meetings, conferences, events and travel
Strong ability to manage, prioritize, and organize multiple tasks
Be committed to meeting the needs of a diverse student population.
Facilitating workshops / meetings (both online and offline), as well as identifying resource professionals.
Help and support in curriculum/content development and research
REQUIRED SKILLS; QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s/ Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, priority on cross disability courses (RCI Registered)
Have 3 to 5 years of successful classroom teaching experience in inclusive school or program
coordinator of a special school/ therapy center; plus, additional administrative/supervisory experience preferred.
Knowledge of best practices in curriculum design, and an advanced understanding of instructional strategies for students with autism, specific learning disabilities, Intellectual impairment and Multiple disability.
Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of members.
Excellent computer skills.
Supporting the planning of special education initiative and the implementation of initiatives in Inclusive education
Have excellent time-management skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
Thorough knowledge of special education laws and regulations
Strong written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
