Job Description

Post Graduate degree in Social Work /Sociology/ Child Development/Human Rights Public Administration/ Psychology/ Psychiatry/ Law/ Public Health/ Community Resource Management from a recognized University

At least 3 years of experience of working with the Govt./Non- Government Organization in Documentation, training & Capacity Building, Project formulation/ implementation, monitoring and supervision preferably in the field of Women & Child Development/ Social Welfare.

Proficiency in Computers.

Major Responsibilities

Full time resident and incharge delivering all responsibilities which include following mentioned activities:

1. To maintain quality of service in the child care institution as per provisions of the Juvenile Justice Act.

2. To ensure compliance of all rules and regulations of the Juvenile Justice Act.

3. To ensure that the atmosphere of the child care institution is healthy and all children are dealt with love and feelings of togetherness.

4. Maintenance of the child care institution as per standard norms.

5. Inspection of the child care institution on daily basis , i.e. food served to be checked for the quality standards, stores for proper usages and availability of food stuff and other materials.

6.Monitoring of daily activities performed by all the staff members of the child care institution.

7.To ensure that all the activities are performed as per plan approved by the organization.

8.Financial management as per norms and established practices.

9.To ensure that Monthly meeting of the staff, Children Committee Meeting and Management Committee Meetings are organized as per stipulated norms and initiate action as per decision of the management.

10.Organize trainings as per provisions of the Vission Vatsaliya and Juvenile Justice Act and rules made under this Act.

11.To take preventive measures to avoid miss happenings in the child care institution.

12.Maintain all records, I.e., personal files, health records, MPR, QPR and other records as per requirements of the project.
