About Youthreach

Founded in 1997, Youthreach is a national non-profit organisation based in New Delhi and working with target groups of children, youth and women through interventions such as education, health care, skill training and livelihood support.

The Corporate programme in Youthreach seeks to in still a sense of collective responsibility among corporates and businesses by creating spaces that enable corporates to reach out through volunteering, material contributions, capacity building, sponsorship, funding, training and employment. The corporate team at Youthreach designs, facilitates, manages and reports Corporate Social Responsibility Initiatives that are innovative, needs based, collaborative and sustainable.

About the Position

Youthreach is currently recruiting for the post of Project Coordinator for the Corporate Programme for a community development programme and would be based in Bawal, Rewari, Haryana.

Youthreach is looking for a-

• Development professional with at least 3 years of work experience in the area of Education, Vocational Training Management, Sanitation, working with Women Empowerment Programmes, Skill Development, and other field-based interventions.

• The person should have a minimum of Master’s degree in Social Work/Sociology, Development Studies, Public Policy, NGO Studies, Political Science. Candidate who is a master in Social Work will have an added advantage.

• The person should have excellent command over MS-Office, Excel and Power-Point.

• The person should be open to travelling on a regular basis.

• The person should be fluent in English and Hindi.

• The person will work out of Bawal, Rewari and report to Associate Manager, Bawal and Assistant Manager, Youthreach head office in New Delhi.

Responsibilities

• The candidate will be responsible for planning, coordination and implementation of Education, Digital Literacy, Women Empowerment, WASH and Environmental initiatives across the Rewari district.

• Monitoring and Evaluation of the ongoing or new projects in Rewari.

• Management, training and guidance of fellow staff members which includes mentoring, progress checks and conducting monthly meetings

• Networking and liaison with the donors, partner NGOs, and other governmental and non-governmental organisations

• Closely working with government schools, especially the ones where Youthreach is implementing its programmes

• Rapport building and working with the village heads and other stakeholders of the Bawal block, Rewari

• The coordinator will be in charge of documenting project progress and reporting (Monthly and annual reports) to the Associate Manager.

• Proposal writing and preparation of the presentation as and when required

• Preparing and maintenance of the annual budget, and monthly expenses and reviewing them as per the requirement

• Conducting training inhouse and hiring of agencies for external training of the staff

• Looking for new donors and partners

Salary

The salary would depend on the qualification and experience of the applicant.
