Suryoday Foundation is a sec 8 Not for Profit organization with headquarters in Belapur, Navi Mumbai. We work for promoting inclusive growth of Urban, Rural and Tribal low - income underserved communities and contributing towards their economic and social wellbeing. Our programs are focused on Financial Education, social security benefits, livelihoods and health. The programs are implemented in Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Odisha

Along with the social mission, the organization also believes in sustainability and scalability of the programs. You will be part of the innovative and dynamic team and have the advantage of leading and scaling up the programs.

We are looking for enthusiastic, self-driven, result oriented candidate who will manage the programs in all states.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Designation: Senior Manager Programs

Base Location: Belapur (Navi Mumbai)

Locations to be handled: Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Odisha (scope of expansion to other states)

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Sr Manager Programs will work closely with Director Programs to implement, manage and monitor the various programs. She/he will be directly responsible for program implementation and reporting on impact.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Streamlining and managing the programs in Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Odisha.

• Preparing the operations plan for the programs and monitoring the roll out

• Identifying different government programs suitable for the communities

• Initiating government partnerships and NGO partnerships

• Being totally budget oriented and managing operations within the budget

• Building and Managing team as per the need

• Working and supporting field team in identification and selection of locations, conducting location surveys and need assessment etc

• Motivate and manage the team to meet the targets of the foundation and also create an impact with programs.

• Timely Compilation and submission of reports, data/MIS for internal and external stake holders.

• Improving the team efficiency by capacity building, regular training and productivity optimization

• Believe in Social enterprise model and work towards sustainability of the programs

Professional Qualifications & Experience:

Education: Post Graduate/ Graduate with relevant experience

Essential:

• Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in Social Sector/ Social Enterprise/Microfinance with a focus towards Impact, scalability and sustainability.

• Strong management and presentation skills.

• Should have managed teams

• Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.

• Languages: Good communication skills required in English & Hindi both Verbal and Written. Additional Regional language(s) is an advantage.

• Ability to operate with minimum supervision.

• Must be willing to travel within and outside Mumbai to all, including to rural locations and field locations regularly

• Good computer skills

• Interest in technology would be added advantage

• Ability to build, supervise and manage the team
