About the Organization:

Uttarakhand Association for Positive People Living with HIV/AIDS is a non-profit community-based organization working for the welfare and support of the HIV people community of Uttarakhand State since 2010.

Job Details

We are looking for a candidate who is willing to work with us as a Health Promoter (Outreach worker) for the Dehradun District under the Vihaan Project supported by GFATM in partnership with Alliance India, which works for the Care & Support of Persons living with HIV of Uttarakhand.
Duties
1. Develop weekly and monthly action plan with the help of the Project coordinator focusing on the priority clients.
2. Outreach to priority clients to provide information on treatment adherence, OI, nutrition, healthy lifestyle, and positive living and provide psychosocial support.
3. To assess the immediate requirement of clients & provide need-based services.
4. Monitor ART adherence using the checklist.
5. Support the PLHIV to avail social welfare schemes, entitlements, and other benefits from the local authorities.
6. Immediate identification of difficult situations and timely escalation to a higher authority.

Qualification Required

Minimum 10th Pass with Good Knowledge of Hindi and English
Having the Past Experience in a Similar Field.
Preference will be given to people living with HIV on the basis of their skills.

Skill Required.

• A good speaker.
• Able to mobilize the community and deliver the message among communities.
• Willing to learn and grow and holds multiple tasks on a need basis.
• Young Energetic (Preferably a girl with a max-age of 32-34)
• Self-Motivated.
• Other Requirements: Own a personal Vehicle for Filed Visit

Remuneration

The monthly Pay is up to 9500-10500 (based on Experience) +TA and monthly communication charges.
