Role/Designation: SENIOR PHYSIOTHERAPIST & MANAGER
Mandatory Requirement: Tamil and English speaking skills
Education: M.Sc Physiotherapy or MPT or equivalent from a
recognized Medical University
Experience: 3+ Yrs

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Extensive Experience in Rehabilitation of Persons with Spinal Cord Injury (SCI); ability to handle all in Residents And deal with complete physiotherapy management post-SCI rehabilitation after medical stabilisation.
• To take part in scheduling Resident Rehab Work Flow schedules and supervising their implementation from the medical perspective
• Take part in regular rounds with other medical staff and also in case of emergency situations at any time.
• To perform assessment and physical therapy examination including muscle strength, higher functions, posture and balance, cardiorespiratory, musculoskeletal and motor function for all patients on need and regular basis including periodic Review of improvements.
• To be one of the key decision-makers in assessing when a Resident can return to mainstream society and provide improvement highlight to show the transformation during the period of stay.
• Initial examination, evaluation, diagnosis & prognosis using standardized formats & development or modification of plan of care based on patient’s condition and modification of exercise pattern with Doctor’s inputs and observation
• Educating Patients, the diagnosis & treatment plans. Involved in writing patient case notes and reports; collecting patient statistics.
• Evaluating, planning and delivering care plans in response to complex needs. Prescribe various exercise protocols based on patients’ conditions
• Supervising and imparting training to the interns and the subordinates.
• Experienced in handling different equipment and stimulators used in physiotherapy activities.
• Keeping abreast with latest research, development & techniques in physiotherapy.
• Good knowledge on working of all physiotherapy equipment and apparatus in a rehabilitation center and to keep up with the advancements and developments in the biomedical.
• Willingness to move to Tiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu and consider a long-term association with the organization
