About the Organisation and Programme : Bodh Shiksha Samiti is a not for profit organization (based out of Jaipur) working in the field of quality education since last 34 years. The organization strives to contribute towards ensuring equitable quality education for all the children irrespective of their socio-economic backgrounds. Bodh also works closely with the state governments to strengthen the public education system so that the quality of education provided to the masses improves and becomes what the national curriculum aims to be ensuring.

Bodh is running 31 Community Schools with the community members. Within the larger organizational framework, Community Bodhshalas play the most important role of not only being a critical demonstration of common community institutions but they are the ground for learning and innovation. They represent actual possibility with the mission of ensuring common effective qualitative learning in children which inculcates the ability of scientific thinking and critical reasoning for the prejudiced traditions of society.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• The Fellows would lead the academic activities like creation of content (teaching learning materials, videos/workbooks/teacher’s guidebooks) for Pre-early grades for all developing cognitive and non-cognitive skills.
• Along with involvement in the curriculum and content development work, the
Fellows would also engage in capacity building (subject based) of the Bodhshalas.
• They would also be required to field test the materials and produce research papers.
• Mentoring the Fellows and teachers of Bodhshalas would be one of the core responsibilities of the Sr. Fellows.
• Any other task pertaining to organization and the programme.
• Frequent Bodhshala visit (at least 3 days in a week) is an essential part of the role.
• Should be able to analyze data statistically, guide in data collection and report generation on qualitative aspects and its’ repercussions on program.
• Should have researcher aptitude and able to initiate research activities in the field and willing to do action research.

Qualification and experience:

• Master’s degree in relevant discipline.
• At least 5 years of work experience of similar type of role would be preferred.
• The individual should be well versed with technology and comfortable to work in MS word, Excel and Power point in Hindi and English both.
• The individual should have his/her own android phone with sufficient data, laptop and two wheelers to perform duties at the highest level.
