Position Summary:

The PA will be responsible for overseeing the primary data collection activities undertaken by VOPA. We have projects in multiple districts across Maharashtra. The RME team does primary data collection in these

districts mainly to improve the implementation of the projects. The candidate is expected to lead end-toend field operations of various surveys, maintain detailed documentation of everything, prepare cleaned

datasets, and support data analysis and report writing as required. We need an individual who is organized,

skilled in using basic Google and Microsoft tools, and motivated to learn. The PA will spend around 25

percent of his time at project sites hence the candidate should be comfortable traveling to different

locations. The PA will report directly to the Directors and work closely with other members of the RME

Key Responsibilities:-

• Design survey instruments to conduct impact evaluations of various projects run by the

organization

Lead end-to-end field operations for data collection activities

Prepare data entry forms using appropriate software/websites and complete the data entry within

the prescribed time

Maintain detailed documentation of all the fieldwork and data entry operations

Prepare cleaned data files, support data analysis, and report writing as required

• Explore efficient, evidence-based techniques for data collection

• Assist Department Managers in developing and validating survey instruments to assess the

effectiveness of ongoing projects

• Assist team in maintaining organizational feedback systems

• Participate in organizational team spaces and structures

• Support the development and maintenance of data management systems across teams

Qualifications:-

Bachelor’s degree in any stream

Some experience in doing field surveys is desirable

Skills:-

MS Excel (non-negotiable), MS Word, MS PowerPoint

Google Sheets, Google Forms, R

Ability to multitask

Attention to detail

Ability to function in an organized manner

Motivated to acquire new knowledge and skills
