Programme Officer (Resource Mobilization)

Asha is a leading community health and development NGO which reaches more than 700,000 people in Delhi’s slums. Asha works with slum communities to transform their lives through implementing initiatives in healthcare, empowerment of women and children, environment improvement, financial inclusion and access to education.

Position description:

The following are the requirements of the successful candidate:

Establish new partnerships by identifying potential opportunities in corporates, trusts and foundations.

Development concept notes and proposals facilitate budgeting for proposals, answer donor queries.

Build strong effective working relationships with donors.

Regular reports to the organisations and partners.

Content writing, editing and proof reading of promotional material.

Selection criteria: It is essential that the successful candidate have:

A postgraduate qualification in social work or related qualification with a minimum of three to five years’ experience.

A proven track record in dealing effectively with partners and mobilizing resources.

An ability to communicate well with and establish relationship with people living in slums.

Excellent abilities in Microsoft office.

Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English.

Fluent spoken Hindi.

 Preference will be given to Delhi- NCR based candidates.

Working hours: Working hours are 8.30am – 5pm Monday to Saturday.
