About the position
Azad Foundation is looking for a Programme Implementer of Outreach & Mobilization and Feminist leadership program for Jaipur urban settlements. The Outreach & Mobilization team is responsible for identifying and reaching out to women in the communities to sensitize and develop an understanding about Non-Traditional Livelihoods (NTL) and work with dignity. The role includes overall management and implementation of the community engagement program in the communities to empower resource-poor women to become professional drivers.
The person will report to the District lead of programs. The person must have prior knowledge of working at Jaipur urban slums, filed team-handling, and enjoy working within an environment that is mission-driven, results-driven, and community-oriented.
Role Description – Key Responsibilities
Responsible for the overall management and implementation of the outreach and mobilization for the Women with wheels (WWW) program and Feminist Leadership program(FLP).
Formulate Community engagement strategies to make women and their families aware about non-traditional livelihoods (NTL) and Join Women with wheels training program.
Plan and ensure implementation of various outreach and mobilisation activities various activities like door-to-door surveys, Camps (Shivir), Canopy, Mic Prachar, and Street Plays to enrol women to become professional drivers / Riders in WWW program.
Facilitate field teams (community mobilisers) in their plan and execution as per the objective and approved plan.
Ensure that regular home visits of the trainees who are joined WWW program for the support and engage families.
Support and Create campaigns/events for engagement of the community and youth leaders and implement at the ground level.
Plan and strategize the selection of the women, conduct 4 phases training program to develop selected women in feminist leadership role to create a cadre of women in communities for gender equality.
Ensure the implementation of the interphase work and community action project of Feminist leaders.
Partnership and liaison with other NGOs, Govt agencies for linkages for social security’s schemes, support in documentation and Gender based violence.
Conduct capacity building interventions and facilitate programme field team to improve programme effectiveness.
Ensure that the data related to learning and assessment and trainees profile is updated on regular basis for improved programme outcome
Facilitate assessment of programme progress periodically in order to strategies and implementation plan if required.
Develop IEC materials and any other materials required for the program implementation.
Create monthly progress report and training materials & reports, presentations, and other supporting resources for programs.
Support activities towards building synergies with other program of Azad Foundation (Men for gender Justice, FLP, Azad Kishori and WWW) at the community level and plan for collective activities.
Professional & Educational Qualifications
Educational Qualifications – Graduate/Post Graduate degree social work/sociology/gender studies/political science/Development studies.
Skills – Good Knowledge of Hindi & English, Excellent communication, presentation skills, report writing/documentation skills, planning, networking and monitoring skills.
CTC – 35-40 K/M
