Environmental Expert, PM-ABHIM, NCDC Cell, MoHFW

National Health Systems Resource Centre (NHSRC), New Delhi on behalf of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare is seeking applications from qualified candidates for the above mentioned post purely on a contractual basis.

Position: 01

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. To ensure compliance at various NCDC BSL-3 construction sites w.r.t various environmental laws/regulations presently in vogue

2. To liaise with Executing agencies/ hired Contractors/ ESIA Expert group/ nodal ministries and other Central/State/District Govt. Departments for proper coordination

3. To co-ordinate regular meetings of ESIA committee, maintain records and implement recommendations

4. Visit construction sites to monitor implementation of ESIA plan

5 To ensure compliance of all National laws from planning to commissioning of BSL-3 facilities of NCDC

6 To prepare documents related to NCDC ESIA plan and maintain its records

Essential Qualification:

• Master’s Degree with 55% marks in / Environmental engineering/Environmental Health Sciences.

Experience (Years) Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience.

Desirable: Experience in carrying out Environmental impact assessment and mitigation in BSL-3/4 facilities.

Experience with working in government projects requiring ESIA.

Age limit: : Up to 55 years.

Remuneration Range: Rs. 1,20,000/- per month.

Reporting Officer: OIC/PM-ABHIM.

Place of posting: NCDC, Delhi.
