Qualification : Graduate in Psychology

Responsibilities of Counsellor:

1) Functioning in a team to coordinate activities and receive feedback from other members of the team.

2) Providing counselling - assessment, motivation, counselling ,clients, families and significant others and planning treatment strategies from admission to follow up.

3) Conducting re-educative classes, family therapy and group therapy.

4) Recording and documentation of the patient's treatment process.

5) Conducting awareness programmes in the community.

6) Visiting and net working with Governmental and Non-governmental agencies to support the client in treatment and escorting/guiding him for admission to other Organizations.

Remuneration : Rs. 17500/- (Per month)

About Company

Human Development & Research Institute started its functioning among students, youths of Kolkata against drug abuse in 1985. HDRI is a non profitable organisation registered under societies registration Act XXVI of 1961 in 1987.
In the year 1993 a 15 bedded De addiction centre, Recovery de addiction centre was established with the support of Govt. of India.
In 1995 a Free Health Clinic was established in Kolkata for the Migrant labours.
In 1997 a massive STD/HIV Intervention Programme/ Sexual Health Programme started with the help of DFID.
In 1999 Sexual Health Programme for Injecting Drug Users (IUDS) started with the support of DFID in Central Kolkata.
In 2006 STD/HIV/AID Targeted Intervention Programme started with the support of WBSAP&CS and NACO for long distance truck drivers and helpers.
