Project Summary
This program helps teachers improve their skills to make learning better for students. It provides training, content, and continuous support to help teachers grow. The goal is to improve student learning by helping teachers use technology and new teaching methods. With digital tools, interactive activities, and group learning, the program makes classrooms more engaging and inclusive for all students.
Position Summary
The incumbent will be part of an on-ground team dedicated to the holistic development of government residential schools in Maharashtra. They will support teachers (grades 1-12) in implementing innovative teaching pedagogies and helping students develop both learning and social skills. The person will be responsible for conducting daily visits to the schools, working closely with teachers, superintendents, and principals ensuring educational programs run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Academic Support
- Daily school visits: Conduct daily visits to assigned schools to provide hands-on support to teachers and superintendents
- Conduct assessments: Conduct assessment of students, teachers, and superintendents as per program objectives
- Group learning implementation: Guide teachers in effectively implementing Group learning strategies in classrooms
- Support school leadership: Engage with principals and school leaders for effective program monitoring and regular support for the holistic development of schools
Administrative Support
- Maintain detailed records of daily school visits and submit regular reports on progress, challenges, and infrastructural issues to the reporting manager
- Assist in organizing workshops, events, trainings, review meetings, in online and offline mode
Technical & Communication Support
- Ensure teachers understand and complete assigned tasks from online training sessions, providing necessary support
- Motivate and encourage teachers to join and actively participate in online training sessions
- Provide basic troubleshooting assistance for teachers facing difficulties with online training platform
Monitoring & Reporting
- Submit daily reports detailing tasks completed, progress made, and any challenges encountered to the reporting manager
Required Skills and Abilities
- Language Proficiency: Must be proficient in Marathi (reading, writing, and speaking). Knowledge of English and Hindi is preferred
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Work, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory)
- Experience: Prior experience working in the education sector is highly desirable
- Adaptability: Willingness to travel daily to different schools and adapt to varying infrastructural conditions
- Technical Proficiency: Basic knowledge of smartphones, online platforms, and digital tools for reporting and communication
Working Details and Remuneration
- Remuneration will be commensurate to the candidate’s experience and will be INR 18,000 CTC per month
- The incumbent will be based in Maharashtra, in any one of the following districts Nashik, Kalwan, Dhule, Nandurbar, Taloda, Yaval, Rajur, Solapur, Pen, Jawahar, Ghodegaon,
Shahapur, Dahanu, Aurangabad, Kalamunari, Pandarkawada, Akola, Dharni, Pusad, Kinwat, Aheri,
Bhamragad, Bhandara, Chandrapur, Chimur, Deori, Gadchiroli, Nagpur, Wardha with regular travel across the state. Additionally, occasional travel to other states may be required as per program needs.
