Education: Postgraduate degree in Agriculture/Horticulture/Agri-Marketing/Food Science or equivalent (Ph.D. preferred)

Job Overview:

Samvedna Development Society is seeking a highly experienced National FPO Mission Manager to lead policy formulation, supervision, and strategic implementation of programs aimed at strengthening Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), post-harvest management, and market linkages. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in agriculture, rural development, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring impactful execution of national-level initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Policy & Strategy Development: Formulate and implement policies for FPO sustainability, agri-marketing, and value chain integration.

• Program Implementation & Monitoring: Oversee and evaluate large-scale agricultural development projects, ensuring compliance with government guidelines.

• Stakeholder & Government Liaison: Collaborate with ministries, financial institutions, and agribusinesses to enhance market access for FPOs.

• Capacity Building & Training: Conduct workshops and training programs for FPO leaders, farmers, and rural entrepreneurs.

• Research & Innovation: Identify emerging agriculture trends, policy opportunities, and innovative market solutions.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 15+ years of experience in policy-making, FPO development, post-harvest management, and agricultural marketing.

• Strong knowledge of government schemes, financial models, and agribusiness ecosystems.

• Proven ability to manage national-level programs and multi-stakeholder partnerships.

• Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
