Job Title : Programme Coordinator

Scope of work and deliverables:

1. Support Programme Manager in ensuring smooth and effective implementation of all the projects under environmental sustainability.

2. Support the team of development professionals i.e., Programme Manager, to ensure timely and quality programme deliverables.

3. Conduct regular field visits to support the project implementation process and prepare periodic progress reports as required.

4. Conduct appropriate field research to determine needs and contexts, establishing strategic direction, setting objectives, planning detailed activities, monitoring progress, providing problem solutions and course correction.

5. Support in developing the new partnership linkages and ensuring new avenues with various public and private agencies.

6. Develop new concept notes and project proposals in the area of Urban Risk Resilience

7. Maintain good relationships with target communities, relevant government authorities, Non-Government Organizations and other relevant stakeholders.

8. Create information, education, and communication materials - Documentation, for wider training and dissemination

9. Produce relevant presentations and documentation to key groups and relevant stakeholders.

SPECIFICATIONS (MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS)

Education: Bachelors in environmental management, Architecture Social Work or other social sciences.

Experience: Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in development sector is desirable.
