International Conference on Unani Medicine is being organized by the Central Council for Research in Unani Medicine, Ministry of AYUSH on 10th & 11th February 2022 in hybrid virtual mode. As you are aware, 11th February has been designated for observation of Unani Day every year.

The theme of this International conference is ‘Diet and Nutrition in Unani medicine for good health & well-being". We all know that diet is the basic source of energy. The normal growth and development and maintaining the health of the body is dependent upon healthy diet and its proper intake. Enhancing the body’s natural defense system i.e. immunity is important in maintaining optimum health and preventing diseases.
The conference aims to explore the potential of Unani medicine, particularly its dietary regimens and advises, in reducing the burden of disease and decreasing the related morbidity and mortality which would help us in achieving the Sustainable Development Goal-3 of Good health and wellbeing. The international conference will have dedicated scientific sessions on various topics related to diet and nutrition for maintenance of good health and wellbeing.

The conference would be an opportunity for scientific discussions among experts, researchers and academicians which would promote the utilisation of Unani medicine for the benefit of the masses and promotion of good health for all.

A galaxy of experts and luminaries from the field of health sciences will share their knowledge, experiences and innovations. There would be participation from industry, academia and research organizations engaged in development of Unani Medicine and related health sciences.
