A two-day TARANG Competition organized by the SOS Children’s Village NGO, concluded on Saturday at SOS Children’s Village Campus in Hojai.


Village Director Paresh Badyakar informed that a project level tarang competition 2018, was held on 25-26th May in the Village campus which included various sports and cultural activities.


Badyakar informed, “Winners of the Tarang village level program are selected to participate in zonal level Tarang sports and cultural program to be held at Rourkela SOS Children’s Village and Begusarai SOS Children’s village respectively.”


” Winners of Zonal level Tarang programme will participate in the national level Tarang sports and cultural program to be held in Delhi in the month of November 2018.” Badyakar added.


He said the main objective of the Tarang sports and cultural program of SOS Children’s villages of India is to nurture the talent of the children. It is a platform for children’s to get an exposure and showcase their hidden talent’s.


This year twelve children out of 45 got selected for sports competition and 17 children out of 62 for Cultural Competition for Zonal Level Tarang Competition.
